TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I dropped off my 2 month old car on 1/3/24 for a water leak and picked it up 2 days later with two dents on my driver side door jams. Service manager denied immediately without even checking with technicians. After I showed him a photo I took of the interior trims all ripped out on the driver side during service (the 2 dents happen to both be on the driver side…), he offered paintless dent repair but still denied fault, however, the dents are too deep and unfixable through paintless dent repair. Disappoint with the service department for the second time. While the vehicle was still under engine and power train warrantee, I brought in my 2019 Tacoma for service. I have a rattle in the cup holder area that was there since I took delivery, and that the shift lever inside the vehicle was very stiff and very difficult to move at times between park, reverse, drive and back to park. I told Emily, the service advisor it gets worse after the vehicle sits for several days. The rattle takes place when accelerating, at mid to higher speeds.

I purchased 6 new Toyotas from Hoselton since 2007. I am satisfied with the vehicle purchase experience. They have over 100 employees and must earn enough to support them so I understand this need.
Whenever I take my car in for service, I always get the list of recommended services. I check their recommendations against the Toyota required maintenance list, they always recommend much more than required. My car sits in the garage all winter and doesn't meet the severe duty category.
One time they recommended a battery maintenance service for $95!

I had an issue with my Toyota Sienna maintaining the tire pressure and brought it into Hoselton Toyota for service. They stated that the tire sensor was broken by Dunn Tire and needed to be replaced. I recently had my tires replaced at Dunn Tire and they were laying the blame on them for a broken sensor. Hoselton charged me a bogus and ridiculous diagnostic fee. Prior to taking my 2019 Rav 4 in for the 15000 mile inspection I notices the tires were very worn. I measured the tires and the front had 4/32 of tread remaining. I managed a service center so i knew the tires should last for 30-50000 miles. We have had the dealership at Marsh Road rotate the tires every 5 thousand miles and had an appointment for the check up today.

I leased a new 2018 Toyota Highlander and my son leased a new 2018 nissan sentra and we both had good results. No pushy sales people and everyone tried to be of assistance whenever we asked. 2016 inspection; I was told I need my rear brakes "serviced" (cleaned) on my 2013 Prius, which I declined.
2017 inspection; I'm told I need all new rear brakes including rotors, calipers, pads "because I didn't do the recommended service last year".
I did get the new brakes in order to pass inspection, even though my brakes were performing fine and I was skeptical. I felt like I was being punished for not "behaving" the previous year, and didn't trust the recommendation (demand) being made of me.

The sales team I worked with (Molly and Jason) were amazing. I felt like they listened to what I wanted and did everything they could to help me out.

I tried having some perspective, but it ultimately comes down to bad customer service. I went in a few times throughout dropping off and picking up. We bought our second Toyota and Hoselton remains outstanding from first contact through delivery. Al Morris is a fantastic sales consultant who takes his time explaining all features and set up of each model and trim level. The entire dealership is friendly and attentive.
Hoselton made trading in my lease easy and efficient. There was the usual haggling over price, typical of car sales but I was able to negotiate to the numbers I wanted that work for my budget. They scheduled my first service for me at time of sale and made the paperwork quick and easy to understand. The sales person was friendly and personable.
Worst experience ever:
1. Saturday I called to schedule a service appointment to perform the 2015 airbag inflator module recall on my 2006 Matrix. I called a second time to confirm the part was available, as I had read they were in high demand and many dealers were having a tough time obtaining replacements. I was told there was one in stock and my name was put on it.

I have leased and or purchased Toyota trucks from the 3 major Toyota dealers in the Rochester area over the last 10 years and Hoselton is the only one that I have returned to for a second vehicle. My current lease was expiring and when I went to Hoselton the sales staff answered my questions, showed me different options from buying out the lease to looking at new vehicles. They had a good selection of inventory and I ended up with the truck of my dreams.
My car was taken in for a recall and NYS Inspection. I was provided a private shuttle to take me home. The service was excellent.
I purchased a new 2015 Camry XLE from my salesman-David Muir. David was very courteous and professional. He has the best interest in the customer when it comes to car buying. The service department as well was very professional and accommodating. The maintenance interval was performed in a timely manner & the entire service staff was friendly & very accommodating. Mark Broncatello in finance is also very accommodating & professional. This is an "A" class dealership. Highly recommended.

On the Internet Hoselton listed multiple 2015 Toyota LE Camrys. I sent an electronic inquiry, was contacted very quickly, and I went down immediately. The salesman said they haven't had 2015 for weeks .... But, when I arrived there were no 2015 Camrys. 2016 Camrys were available at a somewhat higher price.
I recently had my truck in for its second alternator. I dealt with Paul in the service department who worked hard to try and take care of me. Because I modified my Toyota (added a second battery and plow) I was told the extended Toyota Care warranty would not cover the repair. Paul explained that if the vehicle was inspected by the extended warranty people it would be an issue. DO NOT GO TO HOSELTON! We were haggled for 4 hours going back and forth regarding prices and they kept coming back saying this is the best deal, this is the best deal, etc. We went to a different dealership and they not only beat their price-they crushed it. The customer service is terrible and they are just trying to wheel and deal. The Service Manager hung up on me after having a conversation regarding a deposit refund. All other Toyota dealerships in Rochester are easier to work with than Hoselton!

We bought a good looking used Nissan Sentra with low mileage from Hoselton Nissan. The next day the car would not start in our driveway. They tried to fix it and when we got it back it would not start the next morning, again. We returned the car and Hoselton Nissan gave a full refund.

This is the second vehicle purchased from Darryl Jones, and he is a pleasure to work with. Knowledgeable, helpful and never pushy. Best dealership I've worked with. Dealing with the sales person Phllip Degrazia was one of the best car buying experiences my wife and I have had in the 11years we have been living in Rochester and we have bought 4 cars in this time period. I had recently had a full frame replacement performed on my 2003 Tacoma pickup. Those efforts went extremely well. When I developed a "shimmy" in the vehicle a month later I decided to return to Hoselton because of the excellent service I had received. The problem was a defective universal at the driveshaft rear end fitting. The problem was diagnosed and repaired in very reasonable time.
I have nothing but great things to say about Hoselton Toyota!! Every single employee I have had dealings with has been polite and very helpful. The service department takes the time to answer my questions and makes sure I am satisfied with the service. I love my 2011 RAV4 and recommend the car to all my friends. Most importantly I recommend Hoselton Toyota for the place to purchase a RAV4.
Went to hoselton Toyota for brand new Camry with my friend. Lots of haggling involved. I personally don't have much patience for haggling but sales person and manager seemed to enjoy it. If you are buying a brand new car, go to Dorshel. It turned out that Dorshel had lowest price locally and they don't haggle. My firend at the end bought a car from hoselton after at least a hour of process with the fact that we havent have eaten anything. Otherwise, service seemed decent at hoselton.
The staff at Hoselton were all very polite and helpful. The work they do can be depended on. They were able to finish the job in an expected time with no problems.

I just had an oil change and a tire rotation. I had made an appointment to wait for the work to be done. The car was done in under two hours. The staff was pleasant and courteous.I bought my car here six years ago and have always had great service.
This facility is clean, professional, courteous and very attentive to its customers. The girl at the desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The work was completed in a timely manner and the vehicle was well taken care of.

They are by far the biggest bunch of liars and thieves we have ever encountered. My vehicle was certified platinum and had more issues with it then ever. The sales associate was rude to me and did not return calls. Stay away from this dealership.
Conor Dwyer is a very professional and knowlegeable young man. within seconds he knew just waht we wanted and went outof his way to make sure everything flowed smoothly. I do not like buying cars. Not easy to deal with. Conor understood my discomfort and worked hard to put me at ease and get a fair deal done quickly. Was very forthright and honest on price negotiation. Did NOT make me wait for answers. He wanted me to have the car of my choice and made a sincere effort to make that happen. I would ask for Conor for my next purchase visit.
This was my first time at Hoselton. My first impression was excelent; they took my name and very quick a sales representative came to see us (I went with my husband).
David came, I told him what car I was looking for and then he took us to the lot. He explained to us the difference between the models, and his patiente was great!. I've been buying cars for well over three decades now. Dealing with Hoselton Toyota and specifically Karen Jacob was a very satisfying experience. I've heard all the horror stories before about new car sales. None of those were ever present in my latest deal. I bought a 2012 Corolla S that had just come off a truck. Great experience with both sales and service from Karen and Dawn at Hoselton!!!! The price of the car was great and I received great service after the sale.
I had a wonderful experience at Hoselton. Every contact I made was professional and very friendly. I worked with Kathy Milazzo in Sales and she was very knowledgeable.
I bouught 2012 Toyota Camry after comparing it with two other choices. The primary reasons are the color and quality of the car. Deryl Jones made the fantastic suggestion on Color, Cosmic Grey...I am so pleased and thankful to Deryl for suggesting this coior and car. He was very supportive and caring for my needs for the budget and choices. Overall Haselton experince was great. It was easy to compare different models at one location and without any sales presure. I hope to do more business with them.
When we arrived at Hoselton,we were immediately greeted and introduced to our salesperson, Jerod Ingrassio.
He aked a few questions as to what we were interested in and then proceeded to show us some vehicles and to take a test drive.
Jerod was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the available vehicles.
After our test drive we sat down and began to work out the transaction and eventually we arrived at an acceptable price.
It was an entirely stress free process and I attribute that to the professionalism of Mr.Ingrassio.

I just leased a new Toyota so I have not needed the service department but I can say I was very pleased with the sales staff and was not ill at ease during our negotiations, Buying or leasing can still be an ominous ordeal to many but I would recommend this dealership to one and all.
This gentleman renewed my 2010 Camry lease from Hoselton to a new, 2012 Camry lease. The car is outstanding. I am 100% satisfied with everything he did to help me, from locating the car which had just arrived at Hoselton 4 days earlier, to installing my previous license plates and New York state certificates, to tutoring me on the details of the controls, monitors, settings, etc., etc. He gave me his time generously during the 3 days of getting the new car aligned and ready for me. Hoselton Toyota has a very clean and welcoming environment, with a staff that is friendly, courteous, and helpful. I can't say enough about them -- and Al is the best!
From the moent I arrived to view the available Prius models at Hoselton Toyota I was treated with respect and courtesy. The sales staff worked with me to effect a deal I was comfortable with and financially able to afford. The best part is I now have a brand new Toyota Prius that my wife and love.
From the moment we walked in which was originally to service our car, all the employees we met were very helpful, friendly and professional. We believe we received a good deal for the lease and buy back of our other car. Everything ran smoothly and we are very happy with the car.
My car got hit by another car while in Hoselton getting repaired!!! The manager called me to let me know and lied to me about the damages my car had. They told me they gonna take cake of everything initially but after a week they want me to call the guy that hit my car and call his insurance so that the repair can be done! Unbelievable! The lady from Hoselton that handles my car status never return my calls, very unfriendly and rude! Not going back to this dealer ever again!

We went to Hoselton Nissan and Toyota to look at new cars to replace our existing vehicle.
We were greeted by a very helpful sales person who spent hours with us. We test drove four different cars, 2 Toyotas, and 2 Nissans. This was my first leased car, and I have to say I was a bit nervous. But Karen and the entire staff at Hoselton were everything I needed in order to make my decision a comfortable one. I had a lot of questions and concerns but they were all put to rest, in record time!! It's only been 12 days and I love this Camry!! If you’re considering Hoselton Auto Mall, do your homework!! I had my mechanic take a look at a vehicle which they had for sale listed above clean retail value. Come to find out there were significant problems and the repairs would have cost me between $1500-2000. I cannot recommend this dealership.
